If you are travelling with our night trains to Åre/Jämtland and Austria you will need to preorder a menu latest 24 hours before departure.
If you bought your ticket via SJ, you must enter the first 6 characters of the ticket number in the booking number field (before the hyphen). You can book a table in Krogen and apply for compensation for delay. For cancellations, you must contact SJ.
Snälltåget tickets purchased on Snälltåget.se can be rebooked or repurchased up to 24 hours before departure. If you have purchased your own compartment in night train, seven days before departure applies. If you have purchased a ticket within 24 hours or a private compartment within 6 days before departure, it cannot be rebooked or repurchased. If you cancel a rebookable ticket, you will receive a voucher valid for 180 days that can be used to purchase a new trip.
If you have purchased a trip through a tour operator, such as SkiStar, Alltime Travel, Grøn Rejs, Nortlander or Slopetrotter, other conditions for cancelling or changing your trip apply.
You can only apply for compensation for delays once all the trips in your booking have been completed.
